OUR MISSION
Wyoming Hunger Initiative has a simple mission: to end hunger in Wyoming.
Wyoming Hunger Initiative works to prevent food insecurity by increasing awareness and support for the work of local anti-hunger organizations statewide.
Nourished kids, healthy families, and thriving communities: that's the goal of Wyoming Hunger Initiative.
ELIGIBILITY
Any organization within the state of Wyoming whose mission aligns with the mission of the Wyoming Hunger Initiative is eligible for grants. The next grant cycle opens March 18, 2024.
FUNDING AVAILABLE
Individual grants are awarded from $500- $5000.
GRANT CRITERIA
Grant monies can be used for projects and equipment. While requests for start-up costs will be considered, we will not award monies for food or salaries. Please note that Wyoming Hunger Initiative does not reimburse for items purchased prior to grant approval. Interested in the scoring rubric? You may download it below.
TIMELINE
Grant applications open March 18, 2024 and will be accepted no later than 8:00 p.m. MT on April 22, 2024. Successful applicants will be notified the week of June 10, 2024.
REPORTING
Wyoming Hunger Initiative's Infrastructure Grants are made possible through the generous contributions of several philanthropic entities which all require reporting to remain in good-standing. In order for Wyoming Hunger Initiative to continue to receive these very important contributions, any entity who is awarded an Infrastructure Grant is required to submit a Grant Project Update Report no later than December 1, 2024, 8pm MT. Failing to submit this report will result in disqualification from future applications for a period of 2 years and/or a request for reimbursement of the funding awarded.
